The adventure centre was the first to share its knowledge of the local area and people and visit the colourful and vibrant township where we meet local characters that will inspire you and fascinate you with their memorable stories. You will learn about South Africa’s history and learn about the cultures and traditions of the rainbow nations within the township. You will visit local shops, hair salons and restaurants. Knysna is also home to the only Rastafarian community in South Africa.Enjoy interacting with brothers and sisters of the village and learn more about Rasta culture which comes from Ethiopia not Jamaica.

Meet a traditional healer that uses plants and herbs to heal people. Visit a creche and soup kitchen that is supported by your trips and the Adventure Centre. Enjoy the best 180 panoramic view of knysna that only guests of this tour will see and end up having a beer on the scenic deck of a tavern (bar).
