Canoe Safari

Your journey will begin when we pick you up from your Bed and Breakfast or hotel in Knysna, from there we will transport you 10 kilometres out of town along the original road to capetown into the westford nature reserve where our container full canoes is stored. From here you will be supplied with single kayaks or double indian canoes, paddles life jackets and drybuckets to store your camera. If you have never paddled before, you will be given instructions on how to enter and exit your canoe and how to paddle and steer.

Our journey goes on the tidal part of the river towards the lagoon. The saltwater parts of the lagoon is abundant with wildlife and is great for all agesas the water is very calm. For the adventurous there are some cliff jumps and bridge jumps ranging from 3 metres to 11 metres. Th e secluded beach next to the bridge is our destination where we  relax, have a swim or sunbathe and enjoy drinks and snacks that we supply.
Faster paddlesr can enjoy a slightly longer paddle up to Baboon Rock.
